By downloading, installing, or using Waitopia ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
Waitopia is a gamified digital wellness application that rewards users for spending time away from their phone. The App includes:
Waitopia is available to users of all ages. If you are under 13 years of age (or the applicable age of consent in your jurisdiction), you should use the App with parental or guardian supervision. The App does not require account creation or personal information.

Patience points are virtual currency earned through phone-free sessions. They have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged, transferred, or redeemed for cash or any other consideration.
Virtual items, biomes, and other unlockable content within the App are for in-app use only. They remain the property of Waitopia and are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. All virtual items are stored locally on your device.
All game progress, session history, and preferences are stored locally on your device. We do not maintain backups of your data. You are responsible for your device and the data stored on it. Uninstalling the App or clearing app data will permanently delete your progress.
All content in Waitopia, including but not limited to graphics, artwork, sounds, music, text, game mechanics, and the overall design, is the intellectual property of Waitopia and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Waitopia may display advertisements provided by third-party ad networks, including Google AdMob. By using the App, you acknowledge that:
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
While Waitopia encourages spending time away from your phone, the App is not a medical or therapeutic tool. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. Consult a qualified professional for health-related advice.
We do not guarantee that the App will be available at all times or that it will function without interruptions or errors. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without prior notice.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Waitopia and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of virtual items, or device-related issues arising from your use of the App.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Waitopia and its developers from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective when the updated Terms are posted. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. We reserve the right to restrict access to the App if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the App developer resides, without regard to conflict of law principles.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
