The Problem

We all know we spend too much time on our phones, but most apps try to solve this with guilt or punishment. A dead tree. A blocked screen. A naggy notification. These approaches work short-term but breed resentment — users eventually just delete the app.

Waitopia takes the opposite approach: positive reinforcement. Instead of punishing you for picking up your phone, we reward you for putting it down. The same "check back to see what happened" impulse that drives doomscrolling is redirected into discovering what your world built while you were away.

How It Works

• Start a session — tap to begin your phone-free time. The timer runs in the background even if you close the app.
• Put your phone down — go for a walk, read a book, hang with friends. Your world grows while you wait.
• Come back and collect — discover new biomes, earn collectibles, and play mini-games unlocked by your patience.
• Share your journey — generate share cards to show off your patience milestones to friends.
